Diary of a Mad Black Women...

This past weekend I re-watched one of my favorite movies, Diary of a Mad Black Women. I was first introduced to the film freshman year after going through a break-up my friend suggested we watch it together. It was funny and full of heart. Madea is the main character. A spicy, gun-toting, God fearing Grandmother, she never fails to swoop in and add humor and soul to life. Diary of a Mad Black Women is about a women named Helen who is cruely kicked out on the streets by her adulteress millionaire husband. Lost, broke and down trodden Helen turns to her Grandmother for shelter. That is where we met Madea. Throughout the film Helen discovers faith and gets a new lease on life. She even falls in love again! But, Helen must face the demons of her past and learn how to forgive and let go of her vengence.
I highly suggest this film!
